♦ In this circa-1910 street scene showing the 300 block of Main Street, just left of center you can see a narrow black sign jutting out over the sidewalk, with white lettering: "WELLS' GARAGE" (marked version of the photo.) Here is an ad for KRIT autos that B.C. Wells placed in the Hobart Gazette of February 2, 1912, though I don't know for certain that he sold them out of this garage.
